Recently I was with a friend who said she had recently scorched by the sun (figuratively). About the sunshine- it causes plants to grow, we need it for Vitamin D, it makes us feel happy and content, it lights up the day so we can function, it brings life. Not much lives if there is no (day) light.
If we get scorched, it can mean we haven’t adequately prepared, or we had too much time without coverage, or we need to cut off the dead ends. Sometimes it’s just so our roots go deeper to hunt for the water that isn’t coming from above.
Have you ever seen a desert in bloom? It’s pretty spectacular. Just a few drops of water and instant beauty.
Ever heard the phrase if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen?
Start in the cool! Get refreshed. Prepare. Get coverage. Take plenty of water for the midday sun!
Prov 3:17 “The ways of wisdom are sweet, always drawing you into the place of wholeness.”
Go ahead get drawn in to wholeness!
