Cilantro Lime Cream



Ingredients:


3/4 cup sour cream

1 small Jalapeno (or to taste), seeds and ribs removed

1/2 cup cilantro

1/2 cup olive oil mayonnaise (or preferred type) or plain yogurt

2 tablespoons lime juice

1-2 poblano peppers, roughly chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste


Place all ingredients in a blender. Close the lid tightly and puree at high speed until completely pureed. Taste and adjust any seasoning. You may like more or less heat.


Tastes good on any veggie, raw are cooked. Tastes great as a sauce for meats and fish. Great as a dip. It's a newer healthy obsession. *Please note: The cream seems runny at first, but when refrigerated will thicken.
